This 15mm flange insert is a soft silicone sleeve that fits inside your standard 24 mm flange. It reduces the flange to 15mm for a better, more comfortable fit.
Why use a 15mm flange insert
Most breast pumps come with a 24 mm flange, but many mothers need a smaller size. A flange that fits well feels more comfortable and helps you pump efficiently. An insert is an affordable way to get the right fit without buying a new flange set.
Is 15mm right for you?
Measure across the base of your nipple straight after pumping, not including the areola. The 15mm insert suits a measurement of 11-13mm. While pumping, your nipple should move freely in the tunnel without rubbing. Very little areola should be pulled in.
How to fit the insert
Push the insert into the tunnel of your 24 mm flange until it sits flat against the cone. Then assemble your pump as usual.

Made from soft, flexible, BPA free silicone. It feels gentler than a hard plastic flange.
Fits most pumps
The 15mm flange insert fits inside most standard 24 mm flanges. This includes Ameda, Spectra, Medela, Willow and Youha, and most wearable pumps with a 24 mm shell. It also fits the Ameda Glo wearable pump.

Cleaning
Wash the insert in warm soapy water after each use. Rinse well and let it air dry.
