The Ameda HygieniKit is the collection kit at the heart of every Ameda electric pump. This Dual pack gives you two complete sets. Pump with one while the other is being washed.
How the Ameda HygieniKit closed system works
A silicone diaphragm sits between your milk and the pump tubing. It keeps milk and moisture out of the tubing and the motor. That means there is no tubing to wash and dry after each session.
Two sets for busy days
Swap to a clean set between sessions and wash both at home. This is ideal at work or when you’re travelling. Every part is simple to take apart, clean and put back together.
Pump straight into storage
The kit screws directly onto Ameda breast milk storage bottles. It also works with breast milk storage bags, so there’s less pouring between containers.
Compatibility
The Ameda HygieniKit fits the Ameda Elite, Finesse and Pearl, the Ameda electric pumps sold in South Africa. It also fits the Mya Joy, Ultra and Lactaline. If you hire an Ameda Pearl from us, this is your own personal collection kit. Please check your pump model, or contact us if you’re unsure.
Caring for your kit
Wash all parts that touch milk after each use. Ameda CleanEase steam bags make sanitising quick in the microwave. Replace valves and diaphragms when they wear, to keep suction strong. Ameda’s instructions for use show each part step by step.
